Checked in at the Intercontinental Chicago

I was picked up at O’Hare by Crown Cars & Limousines, and after a couple hour flight it was very nice to have the man open the rear door and see that he had put the front passenger seat as far up as it could go.  We can put a man on the moon, but we can’t design airplane seats that give more leg room while still maximizing the number of seats.  Come on, we can do it, no?

Just checked into the Intercontinental.  First impressions of the hotel are very favorable.  It’s a cloudy, overcast day here – reminds me of the dreary winter days of my former East Coast self.

The views from my room are great (will post photos later).  It is amazing the detail that goes into all the architecture here.  I don’t know much about it all, but my friend Sean is in the business and I hope to learn more when I meet up with him on Saturday.

The connection here seems a bit slow right now and so the video of my room is taking longer than I expected to upload.  I will post it later.
