A friend and fellow travel writer is concerned about the continuing reports of bed bugs and rat infestation on airplanes.

I don’t blame her – she’s dealt with them not only in her travels, but also at her apartment in New York City.

Something funny though – now she keeps her luggage in the bathtub every time she travels.

I have never had to deal with them nor do I worry. I believe it’s one of those things that’s going to happen if it’s going to happen.

And as anyone would probably tell you, having my wardrobe destroyed wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

I made the mistake of doing a Google-image search for bed bugs before I finished my Cheerios.
