Part of Wine, Waves, and Beyond was a Vintage VW car show, which the rain unfortunately spoiled.

They were supposed to have the cars looking sharp, decorated with props and music and surf boards.

They still did a nice job, but the weather definitely took away some of the flare and spirit (how could you not be bummed if you owned a convertible?).

I was treated to a unique perspective, though. I was walking from my car to the pier when I saw them come up the road:
