Change of Plans: NYC Tomorrow Morning

I mentioned earlier I felt in a haze – and it turns out I need to take a minute to catch my breath.

A casualty of the wanderer’s lifestyle, I’m sure.  The past week has been absolutely insane between my sister’s engagement party, catching up with friends, and trips to Philly, Baltimore, and Ocean City, New Jersey.

Photo of the High Line Park.

I wouldn’t have it any other way, but I need to be a little smart about it (sometimes I forget I’m not 18 anymore).

I’ll rest up tonight and leave early tomorrow morning. I’m hopeful for a mid-morning arrival if all goes according to plan (does it ever?).

When I told my friend I want to check out Central Park, he did not sound pleased and suggested we check out The High Line. It looks pretty weird to be perfectly honest with you.

Whatever – we’ll figure it out – I’m going to have some more Ginger Ale in the meantime.

Happy Friday.

  1. GET SOME REST……YES, YOU ARE NOT 18, BUT YOU ARE NOT 61….WELCOME TO MY WORLD. I FEEL WHAT YOU FEEL, ONLY MORE OFTEN

    • Oh man. I knew it would happen eventually – and I need my full strength to deal with the 8 million people who live in New York.
