Just arrived at Aria after a beautiful drive through the desert from Santa Barbara.

It’s about 100 degrees here, so I think we’re going to head down and check out the pool. I’ve never done the pool scene in Vegas – hopefully it lives up to some of the stories I’ve heard.

First impressions: I like the looks of the hotel (but in all fairness I could probably say that about most of the hotels on the strip). I’m looking forward to exploring it further.

I have to figure out what the rules are regarding photography so I don’t get tossed out, but photos to come.
