There are some fun times approaching: I will be on the road for thirteen of the next twenty days.

I just confirmed my trip to Nassau and Exuma in the Caribbean from Nov. 9-13. I’m not sure where I’ll be staying in Nassau, but it will be the Palm Bay Beach Club in Exuma. Right now it looks like two nights in Nassau, two in Exuma.
First things first, though: I arrive in Upstate New York (Ithaca area) on Friday morning. I’m excited about experiencing the colors of fall and the gorges, not so much about the weather. I’m still finalizing my itinerary, but it’s not out of the question that I throw in a trip to Syracuse while I am there. Supposedly, a place called Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is one of the best joints in the country?
From there I fly to Georgia on Tuesday (11/1), where I will escape into the wilderness for a few days on Eagle Island. Things planned: Oyster roast, low country boil, campfires, conversation, coffee on a dock, sunrises, sunsets.
New York, Georgia, Bahamas: Should be an interesting combo of culture.
And weather.
