Before I made my way down the beach to release some baby turtles, I ran into an employee of Barcelo setting up a table in the sand.

As with a lot of resorts, the Barcelo Los Cabos is a big couples’ destination (most of the people I met were either on their honeymoon, celebrating an anniversary, or simply getting away).

For approximately $300 (depending on what you want to eat/drink), you can dine in or near the sand and overlook the ocean, watch the sun go down and the color of the sky change.
