My 92-year-old boss said he had never seen anything like it.

Yesterday, I was putting in some hours at BoehmGroup when I received a text telling me to go outside, to look at the sun.

I rush out and look up, and there was a rainbow around the sun – literally 360 degrees of a perfect circle, the sun smack in the center.

I did not have a camera on me, but I was sent some photos (thanks Steve, Carolyn).

As you’ll see it was tough to capture, due to the fact that, you know, you’re aiming your camera directly at the sun. I think they did a nice job, though – you can see the shape in one and the colors in another.
