Wake and Wander Feels at Home on the Caribbean Sea

Remember when I told you how much I enjoyed the sail on the Catamaran in Punta Cana?

Here’s proof.

Great shots from Dan Foster, another writer on the trip. Not only is he a cool guy with wicked stories, but he does some really nice photo and video work. If you like these, check out his site.

A picture is truly worth a thousand words:

  1. Hello, Will! Your vessel looks much more impressive than the catamaran we 40yr old Ole Miss “girls” sailed from our resort. Looks like you had a great time in the DR – we did too! You’re doing a wonderful job showing off the world to young explorers. Oh that my son will enjoy such someday. You’re an impressive young man. Take care. Continue being yourself and doing what you do. Via the “parent network” I’ll let your parents know you’re alive and well wondering. Continued safe travels to you!

    • Hi Beth. Great meeting you and your crew. Thanks for the kind words – I really appreciate it! Glad you guys had fun, you’ll have to let me know if it was solid enough to return next year. Perhaps you guys can try the Barcelo!

Best of luck to you with all the upcoming decisions… let me know if I can help. Hope to see you on the road again someday.

P.S. Forget the cousin, I’ll take the friend!

      • 1 – My friend will be thrilled by your comment
2 – We love the DR and now plan to have every “3rd yr” of our girls trip there (or somewhere similar). The Dominicans are excellente! & gracious hosts. We may just try Barcelo in 2014! Thanks to your info / photos, we see it looks wonderful.
        3- Take care!

      • Cheers. Best of luck with the coming college years. I’ll do my best to support the local farmers’ market.
