It was in the thirties on my way to the airport this morning, but no amount of cold can wipe the smile off my face today.

I had a wonderful time exploring the Finger Lakes region and Upstate New York – and there are stories to come on Ithaca (which is gorges), Syracuse, and the Keuka Wine Trail.

I will be in transit for most of the day – just about to leave Ithaca and make my way down to Eagle Island in Georgia.

These past few days have been packed, and I am looking forward to putting my feet up beside a campfire, getting lost in the wilderness.
