Quebec City Skiing: Where the River Narrows at Le Massif

This past weekend I took my final ski trip of the year up to Canada. It was my first time skiing outside of the United States, and it certainly did not disappoint.

Quebec City means “where the river narrows,” and if you can’t remember it now, you certainly will after a visit to the ski resorts that line the St. Lawrence River less than an hour outside the city. I am going to be doing a “36-hours in Quebec City” type story for OntheSnow.com, so stayed tuned for that, but I wanted to give you a glimspe of how beautiful the scenery is on a clear day.

Check out these fifteen photos of Le Massif, which is currently being further developed by the co-founder of Cirque du Soleil (in a good way), and hopefully they’ll inspire you to take a trip up next season as the ski region is extremely accessible due to newly built public transportation and its close proximity to the airport (tell you about the train in my story):
