Caribbean Sea Reps My Favorite Color Well

Picture this: A playful ocean comes with consistent sets of waves and you float over them, putting your head back. As the wave crests your view changes – you lose sight of the horizon and the clouds and sky fill your eyes, the teal of the water now directly contrasting the sky blue above your head.

I don’t have a waterproof camera myself, however we are shooting video in the ocean and I hope to get my hands on some of the footage so you can experience exactly what I’m talking about. We worked yesterday (Saturday) from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m., and needless to say I am a bit tired.

That long day did allow me to gain a lot of perspective on Cancun. We were over at Costa Cancun, which is situated on the lagoon side of the peninsula (Tucancun is on the ocean side). I’m going to do a piece comparing the two sides, exploring the different vibes as well as the accommodations of the hotels. I have some great photos of the food, and I found another really nice happy hour spot.

Stay tuned – that and more to come. Tomorrow, we will drive to the Riviera Maya for the next few days.
