Photos: San Lucas Shines Brighter During the Day

While the flashing strobe lights, loud music, and cheap tequila blind patrons in Cabo San Lucas at night – I was having a hard time removing my sunglasses during the day.

The sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky as we boarded the boat that day, and before we tied up and swam with the fish at Playa Chileno, our guide from Cabo Adventures (Beth) showed us the staple of natural beauty in Los Cabos: The famous arch.

I’ll have my final thoughts on Los Cabos and the Barcelo by the end of the week – including recommendations for lodging and activities.

As you look at these photos – whether you’re in an office or sitting on your back porch as fall shuffles in – imagine the sun on your shoulders, the sounds of the waves crashing into the rocks, the birds in the sky, and good people all around you.

This side is Lover's Beach and the Sea of Cortez...through those rocks is Divorce Beach, which is on the Pacific. The middle? It's called Lawyer's Beach.

The local boys skimboarding under the arch.

Some say it looks like a dragon drinking from the sea.
