Part of the fun of New York City is the tornado of ridiculousness that can swirl around you at times – especially during rush hour in Manhattan.
Personalities aside, the sheer amount of bodies and the intensity with which they all move is amazing to experience, crowds lining up at crosswalks like some sort of corporate Civil War reenactment.
Then you come into contact with characters like the man who walks around with a cat on his head – the three of us literally stopped and turned and watched him walk by us. My mind was busy trying to decide if I was going crazy, if I really saw a cat on that guy’s head.
