Howdy from Junction, Texas.

Where the hell is that? Good question – about 120 miles northwest of San Antonio.

I decided to stop here for the night, rest up for a full day tomorrow.

My plan is to arrive in San Antonio mid-morning and check out the Riverwalk – it looks beautiful (although it’s supposed to rain tomorrow).

I’ll take a walk and have some lunch, then hit the road for Austin (about 80 miles north). I hope to be there and settled before the sun sets, then wander Sixth Street for the evening, grab some food and drinks and live music.

Rain or shine, it’s shaping up to be a great day in Texas.

This morning I visited the UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell. I have a feature about that experience in the works – for now, enjoy these photos.

As I told a friend today: Roswell may not be an attractive town, but it is certainly an interesting one.
