I told you that the main pool was flat out ridiculous – and that is true – but the Barcelo Maya resort is honestly endless in its repertoire (remember, it’s five hotels total).

After a long day of filming in the rooms yesterday (literally five to six hours in a hotel room… see photos), we took to the adult pool today to capture a few scenes. I wrote all morning, and by eleven I was out in the sun, sitting in the water drinking vodka and orange juice, chatting with my new friends.

Vodka and orange juice sure became a crowd pleaser – it’s definitely smooth in the morning when you’re lounging in the sun, telling stories. I was supposed to get married again this afternoon, but the rain rolled in and canceled the festivities.

It has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning at 9 a.m., and tomorrow night we are filming in the discoteca.

I might be the world’s worst dancer, but I’ll give it my best shot. Remember, it’s in the hips, not the shoulders (according to the Latinos and Mexicanos).
