My trip to the Quebec City Winter Carnival next week just got a little cooler: I’ll be spending night one of my trip at the Ice Hotel in Quebec.

This about sums it up: No matter what the temperature is outside, the room is always between 23°F and 27°.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I couldn’t be more excited. I have no idea what to expect, but I do know it will be something I remember for the rest of my life. Apparently there is a Nordic relaxation area with outdoor spas and saunas, open from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. under the stars (fingers crossed for a clear night).

Hmmm… I’m guessing the rooms don’t have coffee makers.
